Here is another of my games for swimming lessons for you to use in your swimming teaching:

Torpedo Races

Torpedo Race:

Fairly obvious the children line up and torpedo to the finish line.

What you can do to add some variety however, is to say that it's the second one home that wins or the third and just to be different occasionally make it the first one home that wins.

Other variations include: running the race over a longer distance allowing the contestants to come up for air, but must stand up to do so.

This can be run over and back or run in the form of a relay.
